Start of the cruise.

Slow day, delicious breakfast in the Irish pub next to the motel.  Had get back to the motel and pack the suitcases for our sea adventure.  Cath’s silver suitcase exploded, no-one was injured in the incident but it was a close call.  She had to buy a new one.

Made it to the Cruise terminal in plenty of time and there were people everywhere.  Had about 5 queues to get through –luggage, booking in, immigration, customs, embarkation.  We all had to attend the safety briefing for our particular sections.  When we registered in ours the young bloke was from Australia, from Queensland, from Toowoomba.!!  His name is Sam Hilder and he is 25 and went to Mt Lofty.  He is a musician and has worked in this area 4 years. All took about 2 hours, finally walked the decks and admired our new home for the next 7 days.

The seas are calm and smooth, bit cloudy but the sun came out at all the appropriate times.  Headed to the lunch room, after beers, pina coladas, and too much to eat we thought it a good idea to have another walk.  Nothing more to do after that but a bit of shopping then venture in for tea, another grand event.  Early night for a sleep with the sound of water in the background.

The internet costs on board are pretty horrible so I’ll be doing the blog but there won’t be too many photos because it is all charged by the minute and it is such a slow speed it may take ages to upload photos.  Don’t worry, I’ll be making up for it when we get back to civilisation and load hundreds of photos on for your viewing pleasure.
Selfie on the golf course of the ship, top deck, with Vancouver skyline in the back ground.

Looking good for a swim, not just yet though, there are drinks to have, food to eat.

Heading under the bridge in Vancouver - open ocean ahead.

Squeezed under the bridge, Stanley Park bike-way along the waters edge.

Carved fruit welcoming us to the dining room.

On the bridge of the indoor pool.

Looking down from the top floor into the centre area of the ship.

And looking up from the ground floor.

Girls getting excited, drinks in hand.

Sun sinking in the west.

I think it's just about beer time.

Ready for a party....with a big bottle of water??
